Mental Map

This is an example of a Mental Map. In this map, we see the map mappers rendition of an area in London. Due to the fact that mental maps, are solely based upon how the maker views a particular space and place, they chose to include what is most important to them. In other words, the streets and places that the map maker included are most likely places that they are familiar with, but not an accurate picture of the actual space.
